At 71/2 wks I measured 12 wks. Now at 91/2 wks I'm measuring 16wks? In the past 2wks my fundal height measurement has increased 2 inches! Could it be twins? If not what are other reasons to measure so large this early?

Yep only one heartbeat at 7 wks but my midwife said it was still pretty early to hear a heartbeat anyway. We only heard it because my uterus had already grown past the pubic bone, which usually doesn't happen till around 12 wks.

Could be! Did she try to hear the heartbeat again today?

Next appointment in 2 wks but she has me measuring at home to see growth rate more clearly to make a decision whether to do an ultrasound. I didn't plan to have one at all, but if I need one we hope to wait till after 20wks. All my previous pregnancies I measured exactly where I should, even when I measured myself. Kinda nervous, but trying to take the wait and see approach.

Definitely not off w/ dates as I was testing obsessively, temping, charting and using opks.
