Just got bloodwork done  and that was the worst experience of my life. Waited for over an hour with 2 kids... The lady was rude to me, my kids, rolled her eyes multiple times, shook her head when i had to attend to Emma, didn't smile once and reprimanded me for not drinking enough even though she got blood just fine. I couldn't remember if I was supposed to fast or not so I didn't drink anthing!

Meanwhile, when we first went back to go draw my blood there was a chair in the hallway right outside the room. She pointed to the chair and said the kids needed to sit there. That made me very uncomfortable but I'd still be able to see them so I said okay. Well she was putting the info in the computer and Emma came in and wanted me. I kept trying to get her to go out and she wouldn't. Which I don't blame her. And the worker was like SHE NEEDS TO GO NOW THERE IS WAY TO MANY THINGS IN HERE SHE COULD GET HURT ON.  -_-

When this lady came out to get a guy before me- he tried to hand her something and she SNAPPED on him and was like YOU JUST NEED TO WAIT ONE MINUTE and rolled her eyes. Completely rude.

When I walked back she was like um where is your paperwork? I told her they said they'd fax it over about 3 weeks ago. She was like AND WHO EXACTLY IS "THEY"? Oh lord, it took EVERYTHING I had to stay respectful towards her.

If you cant be half way pleasant you should NOT be in healthcare.

Before that, while I was in the waiting room, this lady walked in (she was about 25) AND instantly started complaining about how many people were in there. At that point, there was only 3 people in front of her. (When I got there, there was about 12 people in front of me) And two ladies who were waiting started telling her that. By this time I had been there for about 50 minutes and my 4 and 2 year old were over it. One older lady who was so sweet made a comment about how tired they must be and just want to go home and play. Well this chick was like Yeah, well that's exactly why I would NEVER (emphasized NEVER) bring my children to a place like this. She was being VERY rude about it and she too was rolling her eyes at my kids.  And I snapped. I was like yeah, well consider yourself lucky you have babysitters to take care of your kids because SOME people don't have people to watch their children and have that luxery.  She was like yeah that's true and it shut her up.

My kids then got up and was playing ring around the rosey and it pissed her off and she left. HAHAHA When she walked out I was like awww it looks like you two scared away that lady. And the sweet older lady was like honey they have been so good. They are just fine. You have had to wait and everyone should have just let you go first. I was like no, it's okay, I don't expect anyone to let me ahead of them just because I have kids.

At least I dealt with one pleasant lady today. I'm calling where I went to complain about the person who drew my blood. She shouldn't have a job the way she was acting. It was just awfuL!

Thanks LOL. I got online and found a customer service survey and this is what I wrote after rating them.

The lady who took care of me was very rude and should NOT be in health care. I am very disgusted with the way that I was treated and the way I saw her treating other people. I have never complained about a person before but I couldn't NOT say anything. When I saw her come out to check the sign in sheet, I kept hoping she wouldn't be the one to take care of me. Unfortunately, she was. The other two women smiled every time they came out and said hello. She did not once. She rolled her eyes, shook her head, was snappy with my children, snappy with me, *DIDN'T SMILE ONCE*, told me I should have hydrated myself better even though she had NO problem getting blood from me. I would be absolutely embarrassed to have an employee like her and I am absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated today. I do not remember her name although I would be more than happy to tell you my name so you could look her up.

And I left my name, number, and email.

The other lady was just ridiculous and I by her attitude it didn't surprise me she was acting like that.  Oh well. I'm just relaxing now and calming down before mopping my floors and cleaning the bathroom. :)

You are braver than I am. If someone acted like that to me, there is no way I would let them stick a needle in me. lol. I would DEFINITELY call and complain!
