Well, we live only about 15 minutes from there so it was an easy decision to make.  :0)

going to find out the gender? yes, i didnt want to but logistically, we will need to know to plan like you know, sleeping arrangements (boy will bunk with ds, girl we will have to completely rearrange the house haha... third bedroom is currently an office/ spare bedroom)

reveal the name? most likely, but i wouldnt mind keeping it a secret if i can get dh and ds on board.

have a hospital birth or home birth? hospital.  i want to have a vbac.  ds was an emergancy c-section, after 15 hours of labor he wasnt making any progress, actually had the cord around his neck.  i'll see about setting up the epidural in case, but i would like to avoid the pain med and induction.  dh is opposed right now, but im sure once we discuss it, the research and talk to the dr, he'll be on board... if im a candidate.

Yes I'll find out gender, no I won't tell what I'm having, no I won't share the name and while we plan a hospital birth my last labor was 1 hour and 40 minutes start to finish so odds are it'll end up being a precipitous home birth lol.

And hospital birth I have seen how things can go wrong very fast without warning and for me the risk of a home birth is not worth it.

I'm not sure if we will find out but if we do I am thinking of keeping it a secret this time .... And I will be keeping the names a secret but for a boy Desmond and for a girl Deanya (de-oyna)
