I'm not pregnant yet, but I hope to be soon so long as God wishes it!
But I have always always wondered, why can't you take a hot bath while pregnant?
I get the hot tub thing, but a hot relaxing bath?
It's my one vice so it's gonna be tough to give up if I get pregnant.
I didn't know I was pregnant with DS till 4 1/2 months so I obviously did some not cools stuff, rode a few
Roller coasters, drank a half glass of celebratory shampion when my sis got engaged, and quite a few hot baths!
Just curious! :)
And, I am 32 weeks pregnant and I still take baths. It helps with the back pain and body aches. I just try not to sit in too long. :)
Thank you! ^^

You can take a bath but I was told if the water is hot enough to turn your skin red, its too hot. You don't want your core body temperature above a certain degree. It could be fatal to a fetus at amy stage of gestation.

Good luck on getting your sticky bean soon!

its not that you can't take a bath its that they don't want you to take too HOT of a bath because it increases your core temperature (or something like that lol) im sure if you google you could find the acceptable bath temperature for pregnancy....through my pregnancy i was actually cautious of too hot of showers as well
Good to know!
Its just I love a good hot shower, or bath. Not scolding but hot... I mean I dont smoke, Im not old enough to drink, no drugs... (unless the occasional soda) Its one of my very few vices!
