want to ttc but iffy about tr

i am 27 years old and the mother of 3 beautiful lil girls ages 8, 5, & 4.  i had my tubal done after my 3rd child was born in Feb 2008.  since then i am no longer with my fso and am now married to a wonderful man who has no bio kids of his own.  and i want nothing more than to give him at least one bio child of his/our own!!  we have looked into having tr done but i am afraid of spending so much $$ and then not actually having a sucessful preg and i know that i wouldnt be able to handle several losses from m/c's    i am needing advice on this matter because it really depresses my hubby when i talk about ttc and getting a tr  he wants to have a baby so badly!!  and i want to try for a boy this time  lol  any comments or suggestions are welcomed and appreciated  thanks

Have you looked into the costs? I would check it out and just see if it were worth it. If it means a lot to your husband and you do want another child then it would be worth it. Good luck :)

i have looked into the costs and its goin to be around $8000  the doctors/facility that is closest to me seems to have a high success rate and on the website and even on here i have seen very good reviews and success stories!!  it means alot to us both and we both want another child so its worth it reguardless but i am very tenderhearted and so is he and if we had to suffer thru to many mc's it wouldnt be worth it but after seeing that site and all the positive posts i think we will begin saving up $$ and hopefully be able to have the tr done within the year  thanks!!

TR aside, the more preg attempts the more risk of m/c. M/c occyrs in completely healtht women sometimes simply due to chronosonal issues. I would thimk of it as a normal risk while TTC. I've had 4 pregs and one very early loss, 5wks6days. M/C sucks, but its worth the risk if you absolutely wanr a baby.
