MUCUS PLUG? At 28 +weeks UPDATE 08/21/12!!!!

I'm sorry about the pic ladies I know it's gross but I have been up since about 8 this morning and having Braxton hicks or cramping they have been coming every 8 to 10 min and are pretty intense lasting for about 45 seconds at a time. So then I went to use the restroom to pee idk but I always look down while I'm peeing just to make sure there's no blood with these cramps well as I looked down I seen a long thick string coming out in a stretchy form it was coming so much I actually gripped it and began to pull at it n more came out in the toilet so this pic is like a little piece of what I seen . There's no blood tinge to it bu it's yellow tinted what could this be and the cramps have subsided there about 20 min apart now ???

Soo started having contractions again 1 am came to er. They examined me and my water broke I'm 3cm dilated n being admitted to the hospital please pray that baby stays put until 34 weeks :( n the glob of mucus earlier was my mucus plug I'll keep you all posted.

UPDATE 08/17
So at 12am I would have officially made it to 30 weeks pregnant. Which is great! Only 4 weeks to go BUT of course these things don't go as smoothly as that. Well for the past four days I've been having contractions I mean INTENSE but for the last two days I've been back at high roam because the contractions have been 3 to 4 min apart well they put me on magnisum again and that's helped alot n my. Contractions have died down. Baby is great and is still heAd down way in my pelvis lol. But now I'm bleeding the drs think it's from my cervix and mucus plug being completely out now. So Idk the placenta is still in tact so Idk what its from but that's my update ladies still taking one day at a time thanks again for ur well wishes

UPDATE 8/21
Well ladies after 8 days of labor and 2 weeks + of hospital bed rest I have finally had my baby girl we couldn't keep her in any longer she was ready to enter the world and shes the best weighing at 3 pounds 5 ounces and 16.11" long at 30 weeks and 4 days. Syuri is here phew and what a work out she was. Ill update pics as well thanks so much for all ur prayers and concerns!!
