I just got my bfp yesterday and I should be 7 weeks. Will the dr go ahead and do an ultrasound along with the blood work; or just listen to the heartbeat?

It depends on your dr and your past. With my first, I had never had any problems before so my first appt was just introductory and to take blood and check my levels. I didnt get an U/S untill 11 weeks I think. My second pregnancy was a MC so when I got pregnant the third time, I saw my dr much earlier to start taking certain supplements. I had my first u/s with this one at 6w3d. Also, I have a different dr this time around. So it all depends. Congrats on your pregnancy! :-) Keep us posted on how the appt goes.

Normally it will be a pelvic exam and bloodwork unless you had problems before

First appt is usually a pelvic exam, introduction to pregnancy, and lots of bloodwork. No worries. It will be ok. I had my first appt at 8 weeks, then an u/s at 12 weeks to check the baby's hb. Congrats on your pregnancy :)

it depends on your doctor. I had an US at 9 weeks, pelvic exam and blood work to test my Hcg level.
