Just kinda wondering from those of you who have gone through IUI .. a little history i've been ttc number 2 for about 3 years now, i have a blood clotting disorder which we have under control with blood thinners and such and we just found that my husbands sperm analysis came back with great count and motility just very low morphology. It looks like the doc wants to try IUI with clomid (which i had been on in the past before i found out about the blood clotting issues and hated it) Have any of you been through anything similar.. i guess i'm kinda looking for some positive feedback of IUI .. as i've heard lots of bad stories!! I just did my first IUI last month and for whatever reason I started to spot the days I was told to test and then AF showed 4 days later. I am now scheduled for another IUI at the end of this month my Husband has a good count and PH is good bu his morphology is a little low so that is why we have gone to IUI. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
i've read lots of posts from women with husbands who have the morphology issue who say the iui doesn't work.. their docs have had them go the IVF route but i know that is really expensive, and as bad as this sounds i'm not willing to pull out a second mortgage on my house to have a baby.. i just really hope it works.. thanks for replying and baby dust to you i hope it works out for you!! =)
My husband is also taking fertilaid and I have read great things about it so we are willing to try anything right now. I know what you mean when you said you dont want to take out a second mortgage on the house. We are only going to do 3 rounds of IUI before we move on to adoption. Well good luck

Hello! I am on my second round of IUI. I am 4dpo and my doctor put me on Femara. I was on clomid a year ago and I hated it. It made me crazy and dried up all my cm. I have not had any side effects with Femara. My doctor said she would do three rounds of IUI and if it doesn't work she will do IVF. My husband had a semen analysis done and it came back with abnormal morphology. They said it was caused by a varicocele and he had to have surgery back in April. So far everything has looked good with his numbers and morphology. Hoping for good news next week. Good Luck to you!!!!
my husband also has a vericocele which the doc wasn't too concerned about because i've gotten pregnant 4 times all resulting in miscarriage, he seemed to think that wasn't the issue. I'm not sure how he will feel now that the morphology has come back low 2.5% .. please let me know how things turn out especially since it sounds like sorta what i'm dealing with! good luck i hope it works for you :)
