I posted this as a reply to someone and wanted to share it with everyone who was interested.
After getting the news my b/w was negative... this was the devotion I read this morning. It was perfect for me.
"The Lord told Gideon, 'With these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites. Send all the others home." Judges 7:7
Why would God lead Gideon into battle with an army of only 300 men against an army of 135,000 Midianites? Gideon placed his trust in the Lord even against overwhelming odds. When you feel that the odds are against your favor and the Lord is leading you into battle, remember Gideon. He went on to victory because he dutifully followed the Lord. When you feel the odds are stacked against you, could God be using you to demonstrate His stregnth?
What a more perfect day for this to be my devotion! It helped me to pick myself back up and say "I trust you God." He know's what he's doing.
I feel like God wants someone else to see this and hear one of those songs.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
