However I know for me I hated metformin but if you have lasted this long then you must not have gotten the horrid side effects then so good for you
For me I ate right and made a lifestyle change cause I wanted my baby
I worked out everyday lost 30lbs and got my baby on the way now 19 weeks 3 days :)))
i did clomid alone with no sucess, however i have pcos with no insulin resistance so my doctor doesnt feel metformin is needed however i beg to differ, but if femara doesnt work for us after a few tries we are just going to see a specialist then. which i will defiantly be a little more pushy an frank about our needs, an push metformin
i have heard success stories from women who only used one or the other not together so i would think the combo would work even better
good luck
I have been on Metformin for a year + and I did my first round of clomid this cycle, just like you. I am doing everything you are doing and now I am waiting for 12/3 to see if my IUI was a success!
I did many many rounds of clomid when TTC my second and never once ovulated. It was 6 mns after stopping Clomid I finally ovulated and conceived. This time around my Dr started me on Metformin and then clomid. And I ovulated the two cycles I was on it. Cd 14 on the first round of 50 mg and cd 20 on the second round of 50mg. I unfortunately didn't conceive. But I was happy I ovulated! Good Luck
Hi, I also have PCOS and have now for 10 months and I have taken metformin since I was diagnosed. I have not taken any of the ther meds yet But I would also ike to know if they work. My fiance and I have been TTC since Aug of last year. I would probably stay on the metformin for a bit longer. Idk if 3 months is very long for all your hormones to come back to normal.. I also took the Provera tho when I first got diagnosed and it indeed worked. I think I may ask the Dr about putting me on Clomid tho, Is there any negative things about it?Jw I wish u the best of luck!
