Can Temps Ever Be Wrong About O Date?

On the 16th which ws also cd 16 form e, I had cramping nd spotting inthe later part of the day. According to FF if I had one more temp rise this morning that would have been my O day. I am about 99.9% certain I O'd that day yet when I took my temp this morning I didn't get the crosshairs. My temp was still above what it has been (which confused me) but no crosshairs. I wanted to override it just so I can keep track of this to remember if necessary, but I can't even determine what my coverline would be. I came up with 97.48 but I don't want to screw it up. So 3 questions:

Why did I not get crosshairs even though todays temp was still higher than the few days before the 16th?

Is it possible for temps to not accurately detect ovulation?

What would you say my coverline temp would be?

Temps are not reliable.  If you sleep with your mouth open they are off.

Yes temps can be off. It doesn't take much. It more or less takes a few months for you to be confident in how to temp, and you will notice when things are off or not. I would suggest calling your Dr and having him test your progesterone to determine if O happened or not. Good Luck

i think if you temp vaginally the temps could be more accurate
