And not know it? My reason to ask is this.... A catch up on last cycle

LMP Oct 8 I ovulated cycle day 18 and had a significant temp dip on 6 dpo with cramping and very light pink mixed with brown cm, that spotting continued until 13 dpo(nov 8) when I had a very light period only lasted a couple days.

About a week later u started getting more frequent heartburn, had a fee days of aweful nausea, my nipples hurt and breasts feel heavy, and holy crap cm..i have never had this much.

Only reason I am worried is because since I started what I thought was a period I was put back on my birthcontrol pills to shrink my cyst.

Well BC can cause basically ALL the symptoms you are talking about as 'pregnancy' symptoms & its just caused by the combination of estrogen AND progesterone together, like during pregnancy :(

Usually during your cycle in the beginning only estrogen is present & then right after O only progesterone is present but like on BC pills, during pregnancy both estrogen AND progesterone are high, causing lots of creamy white cm, sore breasts, sensitive nipples, nausea, heart burn, headaches etc!

Its always possible to be pregnant & have a light period, i say take an HPT to ease your mind hun!

Yeah I think I may get one soon. I think why its bad this month is because I went off for a fee months had normal cycles but then had to much pain anf severe swelling on my left side where my cyst is. So.my doc said back to the bc pills for a bit.

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else... but aren't you ALWAYS on birth control for cysts (or so it seems lol) You poor thing.  My doctors never suggested that.... well he told me if I wasn't TTC he would have me on birth control for sure.

I would take a test. Good luck! Hopefully it happens soon for ya.

I would HIGHLY suggest metformin if you have PCOS & reoccuring ovarian cysts...........BC pills can be a good quick fix & prevention but when TTC it just doesn't make sense.........I never went on metformin because my glucose tolerance tests were always perfect & my A1C was always great but then my RE told me that insulin resistance is far different then diabetes & there arnt tests to show it but that IR is the core to PCOS & metformin is a great tool..........after being on metformin now for 6m I can say it is AMAZING, I wish I would have started it 6 yrs ago!

I will have to look into that. See I only have coverages on yearly paps and prevention testing, I do not have actual health insurance. But maybe if its not to expensive I will look into it.

I think at walmart its on their discounted med list for like $10 for 3m or something because my uncle takes metformin for type II diabetes & I overheard him tell my grandma something about it because she was just recently at 74 diagnosed with type II :( so look into it, its been a miracle for me, I mean in sept i ovulated on my own for the 1st time in about 6 yrs & I lost 46 lbs in 12 wks after starting it, the best part, from april to oct my hormones went from CRAZY to all within normal range, its nuts how much its helped me honestly!

GL hun
