A little background on myself. I am 22 years old and I have never had a regular period. It will come a couple times a year sometimes a few months in a row and sometimes randomly. This has been going on ever since I was 12 years old and I have been on BC to try and regulate me and it will work for a little while and then stop. I have been tested for my hormone levels which are all normal, I have no diseases or cysts on my ovaries. The doctor says I am normal

Well I have been married for one year on the 27 of this month And my husband and I have been TTC. Over the last year we have been together about 7 months due to him being in the Army and me being in school in another state. My last period was the end of OCT. and I skipped Nov. The first of Dec. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Over the last month I have been drinking "Fertilitea" to help me conceive and have noticed a "pressure" and slight cramping and pinching feeling. I have not taken a test since Dec 1st but I have been extremely tired (sleeping 12 hours a night) when I normally sleep 7-8. Some other symptoms I have noticed have been my breasts are very sore, not the nipples but my whole breast. Yesterday I thought I had started my period because when I was in the bathroom and went to wipe there was a pink color in my mucus so I put a tampon in and later checked it to see nothing. I have not started my period but the cramping has seemed to get a little worse. I have been getting hot flashes and Im getting a little worried. I have been wanting to get pregnant for awhile now and I feel hopeless everytime im not. Idk how to explain it but I feel like being a mom is my calling. I dont know much about ovulating and periods because I was never taught so please dont think im stupid for asking this but COULD I BE PREGNANT?? TIA!!!!

No way to know

Also start tracking your temps to see if your even oing sounds like you're not and this causes long irregular cycles

With your history, I would highly recommend seeing an infertility specialist or reproductive endocrinologist. A regular Ob/gyn will not have the experience & knowledge to help you. Something isn't right. It is not normal to have irregular cycles.

It could be PMS or pregnancy. Only way to tell is if you take a test.

You should start charting your temps and using OPKs. These help increase your chances each month.

Also, it can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive. Most OBs or REs will not start looking into your fertility until you have been trying 1+ years.

I agree with this.  Good luck!

Id say either PMS or pregnancy, id take a test and go from there. If AF shows I'd se about going to an infertility specialist or a reproductive endocrinologist to get some answers and help getting your BFP. GL!

Sounds just like me I had almost regular cycles after I started when I was 14, but irregular ever since I've never had regular cycles for more than 6 months. I've asked my doctor about it every check up but up until 17 they said its normal then they tried to put me on bc since but I won't take it. I'm 22 also and I don't understand why I'm having issues. I was tested they found a slight imbalance in my thyroid but didn't do anything but retested and it was fine I continued to get physical examinations with my gyn who said everything was normal. Then a few months ago my thyroid was off again my doctor referred me to an endocrinologist who ran tests and said it was a virus and it should go away on its own and said it is the reason we were having trouble conceiving and was why Im so irregular. Have you gotten your thyroid levels checked?

Thanks so everyone!!! Yes i've had ALL my levels checked, Thyroid everything. The only thing is my vit. D was a little low but then I moved to TX and no longer am lacking any D deficiency lol. My huband is Army so I cant just go to a specialist I have to go through all new testing again and play the govenrnment game. Very frustrating!!!!!!!!! I took a pregnancy test and it was neg. :( Boo.... started bleeding a little big again but stopped. IDK what to do, I GIVE UP!
