Is it normal to have a period for a day? Dh and I had been trying for over a year and a few months ago decided to take a break. Beginning of this month my period started late on the 5th and was over by the afternoon on the 6th. I wasn't stressed out at least I didn't feel stressed from finals. I have been exercising to lose some weight don't know if that could have caused it.. I'm to nervous to test and bring my hopes just to be disappointed

I would say no
I wouldn't think that "everything" could come out in that amount of time

Is it possible that it was implantation bleeding?

It could be, but IDK and I really don't want to get my hopes up becuase over the summer I was a month and half late and thought we might be finally getting out BFP but we didn't

It couldn't hurt to test.  If you don't want to get your hopes up, you could try telling yourself that you KNOW it'll be negative but you want to do the test just to be sure.  I dunno, I'm just thinking that's what I would do.
