What you are explaining to me sounds like what women refer to as "Ovarian twinges" :) it can be a sign you are ovulating if it started suddenly or a sign your ovaries are 'working hard' too! I tend to have throughout my follicular phase but they slowly get more & more intense until O day when they actually become 'pains'!
I am more curious as to what yesterdays temp was compared to todays to tell for sure if you are or did ovulate :)

I know nothing about temping but when I ovulated last month I had pain in my left ovary almost all day and was really horny (lol)
The next morning i woke up with sore boobs and they never went away, got my bfp at 9dpo
