I most likely have PCOS but no official diagnosis until I see my doctor again in a couple of weeks. My first was an accident when I was 18, but I got pregnant for him after not being on birth control and having sex regularly for 2 years. I lost about 60 pounds, and suddenly I was pregnant. I went on depo, then went off of it to try to get pregnant when my son was 18 months old. I started losing weight after I went off the depo (I had gained back the whole 60lbs I had lost) and I was pregnant within 6 months. Now, I am the highest weight I've ever been and I've been TTC for 3 1/2 years with no luck.
I got pregnant the month after getting off of nuvaRing, but it was chemical. Afterwards, my cycles were irregular for about 3 months, so I got back on NuvaRing for a month, and the month after that got pregnant with my son.
This time we've been trying for 13 months. My GYN finally referred me to a specialist and I see him on Thursday!!
I have the complete PCOS and even though it took us 2 years and no luck with clomid we ended up pregnant :) I took cinnamon pills and vitex drops and those were the only things that worked for me.im now 27 weeks 1 day :) dont give up!!
I have PCOS and been trying for about 4 yrs. I only learned of the PCOS 2 yrs ago. Been on metformin for 2 yrs and just did my first round of clomid. The journey continues...
We did 6 rounds of Clomid, this last one was 150mg and we just found out that we are having twins! I have an other friend who has PCOS and she got pregnant through IVF with a little boy due this summer. Keep on trying hopefully you'll get your bfp very soon!
Took me forever to get the nerve to go to the doctor after being able to concieve for years. Went to doc last Wednesday and she suspects PCOS. Have been started on Provera (still have 5 more days of it left) then once period starts will be starting Clomid on cycle days 5-9. Finding out results of lab work tomorrow. So very nervous
