I work at a federal detention center with female inmates. stress violence and chemical agents. I let my work know that i am pregnant 15 weeks now and i am still working around I/m's. which is a growing concern for obvious reasons. So i am probably going to be taken off work at 6 months. end of April. My question is does anyone know if i will be put on disability and then take FMLA after for the 12 weeks? i have read and re-read the policy's and so forth at my work and the only thing that is clear is that the first 7 days of disability for any reason are unpaid unless you have PTO. which i will have a weeks worth by that time. So does anyone else know CA rules/regulations pertaing to going out of work early?
