My doctor is suggesting we try it this month and wondering if anyone else has tried IUI. Does it hurt?

I did 3 cycles of IUI last year and none of them hurt. Its really quick, u may feel a tiny cramp when they put the catheter in but that's it. Good luck to you!

I have gone through 2. The first one didnt hurt and the 2nd one hurt pretty bad. From what I have read if the person knows what they are doing they arent suppose to hurt. Good luck to you and hope it brings you a BFP :)
I had an HSG test that was horrible so I am scared it will happen again!
I am not sure if there is a higher success rate with IUI? I only have one friend it worked for.

I did one this cycle and it didn't hurt at all. Even giving myself the shot dust hurt. I'm 16dpiui now with bfns and no sign of af so who knows what's going on with my cycle. Gl
