TTC - Trying to Conceive TTC - Trying to Conceive

Should I be concerned?

I'm really writing down all my information each month and I'm noticing that I really am getting a fairly typical O date of either cd 16 or 17.  Is that considered a delayed Ovulation and if so, is a call to the OB in order? WHat would he do about it? Or is that just "me" and some women are just like that.

I have really irregular cycles and have to take clomid to make me ovulate. But even with the clomid I still don't ovulate until cycle day 16-17. As long as after you ovulate it's around 14 days until your period starts then you're good. If you know you ovulate day 16 and then you keep getting your period only like 7-10 days after ovulation that could be a problem because you have a really short luteal phase. It's actaully the time between ovulation and your next period that is more important then the time between your period and ovulation :)

From what I know it's only important to have at least 11-12 days from O date to AF. You want a long enough Luteal phase to build up enough lining for the egg to implant.
