My husband and I just found out that he is at 1% on one of the tests he took. He had a high sperm count high motility but out of the 200,000,000 only 1,000,000 are good. The Dr said he need to be 4% or higher in order for us to try IUI. My husband has two kids from a previous marriage. I guess I'm just sad because I really wanted to have a child with him. Has anyone ever experienced what were going through? I was reading online about how a man can get his sperm count up. I feel bad for my DH because now he feels likes he is failing me.... I married him because I love him, I didn't marry him so that we could have children .... Of course that's what we both want. I'm not to sure what to do other than pray... And cry.... :(

I'm so sorry. Don't give up, try all of the tips to get his count up.

My DH is having his done on Friday, so we aren't as far into it as you are. Thinking of you!

That's a good suggestion. My DH takes a multivitamin & garlic (the odorless kind). I'm not sure what the garlic does, but I know it has something to do with fertility. He also eats a lot of green veggies, bananas & pinapple when I get near time to O.

My hubby's urologist told him that taking any kind of daily multivitamin can help raise his numbers. Good luck to you I know its a hard time right now but remember it only takes ONE!!!!

Try any Supplement that has Maca, Horny Goat Weed, Tribullus Terrestris, L-Arginine. They work well combined or as stand alone supplements. Good Luck.

I can't seem to find the post a picture bottom on my laptop here or I'd post a supplement pic for you as sample. I'll use the Cafe Mobile on my phone and post the pic shortly.

Try not to lose hope. My husband had low motility and low morphology and we were still able to conceive our daughter (she turns 1 next month). We also have two older boys (7 & 9).

We had been schedule for him to see a specialist to see if we could find the cause when I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. We had pretty much given up on every having #3 and talked about adoption instead.

Good luck.

Look into Paleo. I've heard it really helps increase fertility!
