What is the difference between. midcycle bleeding and implantation .

I think of midcycle as when we ovulate, but that is only true if you have a 28 day cycle.  It is possible to have spotting with ovulation.

Implantation usually happens 6-12 DPO, with 9DPO being the most common.  But many women describe implantation bleeding as being brown & it usually seems to happen pretty close to when AF is due (or when it is due).

There are other reasons for bleeding between AFs - you could have an infection, a cyst or fibroid, a sensitive cervix.  If you don't know that bleeding is from ovulation, implantation or AF coming or going, it should be checked out by your doctor.
