At home sperm count?

While picking up our preseed tonight, I ran across an at home sperm count test for $40.

Has anyone tried this? Would it be worth it?
I just thought maybe, if we didn't catch the egg this cycle, that just to put my mind at ease (or to convince me to make a specialist appt sooner than planned) we could try the at home test. I know it's not 100%, nothing "at home" really is, but I was just curious.

Hopefully there was an egg to catch and hopefully our fancy bd'ing tonight caught its attention and asked it out on a date. I know my eggs are easy- I raised them that way. It's alright, little egg, a little action on the first date doesn't make you a slut. It makes you a baby ;)

Hah!

G'night ladies! Baby dust!

I bought one off Amazon but was well over 100.00 it came with a microscope, slides, solution to dilute to be able to count, grid with instructions on how to work everything etc.

I would never use a cassette test they do nothing but show he does have over 20mil.

It doesn't show count, morph, mobility etc.

I tried it. It came up positive. But it only counts the sperm per ml. Not the motility or morphology.

I never thought about testing the motility and the lot. Good points indeed. Thanks ladies :) We probably won't be purchasing one.

This. Instead of that at home one for 40 dollars I just went to my ob and had everything checked out for 139 dollars. It's well worth it just to go to your ob :)

I was wondering the same thing.  We may decide to get it...I got the fertility test for women, so why not the one for men? lol
