OPK twice a day?

I know some people only take one a day and some people do twice? Is there a need in twice a day? If so, what are the best times to take it to decrease the possibility of missing your surge? Thanks!

If you are testing once a day, its best to test in the afternoon.

I usually test once a day until my opks are getting closer to positive, then I test at least twice a day to make sure I don't miss the surge.  Then I'm testing from about 10 a.m. on.

I test at 2pm and again at 8pm. You may miss the surge if you only test once/day.

i have read that early morning (before 8am) is the worst time to test.  a suggested time for twice a day is noon and again at 10pm so you are testing during optimal times with a big gap between the 2 tests.  if you only test in the afternoon, the suggestion is to test at the same time each afternoon.
