Have you tried this before and what was your experiance with it? DH and I have been TTC #1 for almost 4 years now and almost 2 yrs. with the help of clomid. I recently bought preseed and tried it this past cycle. Well, DH and I were talking about using the surenge for at-home insemination. What do you ladies think? I would love to have some input or personal experiences beforehand. I already O'd this month, so I will have to wait until next month before trying. My OB also switched me from clomid to femara 5 mg for my cycle next month.
Thank you, and LOTS of baby dust for everyone and congrats to all the mama's who got their BFP's this month!! :)

I have never tried it but from other post I have read at home IUI(using a syringe) is no different then having sex unless your dh has a major sperm issue. There are some ladies who have talked about putting a catheter into their cervix and injecting sperm. This is a BIG no no because you are only setting yourself up for infection. You could get injection from the catheter or even the sperm. The sperm that is used in IUIs is actually washed before its inserted. I would never do one due to such high risk of infections.

This exactly. The syringe isn't going to get you anywhere unless its in your cervix which is dangerous. Either stick to sex or go see a doctor about iui. I think those kits are for single/gay women using donor sperm at home or men who can't physically have sex.

Thank you ladies for all of your input. I am strongly leaning towards re considering it now! I will be starting Femara for my first time next month, if that doesnt work by 3 months, then I am onto IUI. So if i have already waited 4years, i think I could wat another 3 months! Thank you!

hello how are you dong? I have been using sperm donrs from KDR I met an person in Jan of 2013 we used the syringe and softcup and I had it ship from another donor I did the same thing and then I decided to take break between on and off and if you have the money you will have to go in for an u/s n blood work, ects so if you know how to use teh softcup once you get teh sperm put in the softcup just simp insert yourself then do your orasgm for 15 to 20 mins with your hips up and till you can get all the sperms into your cervix and if you got any questions please feel free to ask I been ttc for an year nothing happing so we all on the same boat
