Differences in CM

I know this is going to sound dumb, but I need a teacher here! What is the differences in CM? I've heard of watery CM, slimy CM, EWCM (no idea what that one stands for!), yellow tinged CM! I don't know what means what. I've never tracked ovulation and have heard that one option is by checking your CM. Seems like an option that I could use, but it won't help me at all if I don't know what means what. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ewcm stands for egg white cervical mucus. It looks like egg whites when you stretch it between your fingers. The easiest way to tell that one is by stretching it. Now some people do O with out it. Watery is the next best thing. It will look like water and not stretch. If I was you I'd order some cheap wondfo opks till you get the hang of it. My cm is weird so I can't go by it alone lol.
