I give up!

On trying naturally. Tomorrow I am making an appointment with a fertility specialist. My only concern is my weight. Hopefully they can work with me, or help me lose some weight first.

How much do you think you need to lose? I worried about the same, I've been seeing an infertility specialist for a little over a year now, and because of my infertility, I really let the stress get to me, and I packed on the pounds. The doctor did bring up my weight, which I have been working on, but they still helped me in the meantime. I've lost 73 pounds since July, went from 260 and am currently 187.

I'm 250, I need to lose 75 lbs. I've tried and tried but have trouble doing it on my own. I'm hoping for some help as well.

To be honest, all I do is calorie count. I also occasionally walk/jog on my treadmill, but nothing major. I have an app on my phone where I keep track of every single thing I put into my body, and I don't go over a certain amount a day. It's annoying to have to do this, but it's highly effective. You don't realize how many calories are in everything that you're eating until you start reading labels! I also gave up soda, which was HUGE for me because I used to be addicted to Pepsi, it was all I ever drank.

I don't think your weight should be too much of an issue.  I have already done a cycle of IVF and I was about 183 lbs. My dr never had any concerns about my weight.  I'm not sure what your weight is, and you don't have to share, but I had seen woman of different sizes, so I don't think it should be a concern, unless you're extremely overweight!  From your photo, you don't look as if you will have any problem at all!! :-)

You should bring that up with them. I don't know all that much about PCOS, but maybe you have that...? I've read a lot about women who have that and have a very hard time losing weight.

I'm 250 and 5'9. I have PCOS and hypo-thyroidism. I am trying so hard to lose weight, but it's so difficult with my diseases.

Wow, I'm a psychic! lol. Just kidding. Like I said, I don't know all that much about PCOS because I don't have it, BUT I think there's something the doctor can put you on that should help you lose weight. I think it's called Metformin...?
