I don't know what the procedure is but I just met with a specialist and he said there is only a 20% chance that it will work. He advsied if my husbands surgery didn't work that we go straight to invitro. Baby dust!

It is really simple! My DH & I have done three so far. First, you call your doctor the day you ovulate! Your DH would give a sample, then it will be washed (sperm separated from semen), then your doctor would prep you just like getting a pap, but instead she would insert a catheter into your cervix too your uterus and deposit the washed sperm! That's it! Some women feel light cramping but I was okay. Depends on what your fertility hurdles are depends on success. We knew going in our chance was low, low sperm count. But worth a try and cheaper then IVF! Good luck!

Ok thanks for the info. I am thinking about trying it. Gonna see my doctor next week and see what they advise.

I've done 5, all unsuccessful but like the other post it feels just like a pap with a little pressure when they inject sperm. I took Clomid and femara (not together), they monitored me, told me when to trigger and then 36hrs later had IUI. Pretty simple. Good luck

It was pretty easy and i wouldn't have this little guy if not pursuing a specialist ! Hubby and i tried for 5 years with 6 rounds of clomid 1 loss at 6 weeks. Took a break then persued iui with femara and a trigger shot. Felt just like a pap. Took less then 5 minutes and our first try resulted in our son Orion who turned 1 on January 25th! Honestly worst part was i had an hsg done and it was extremely painful but fairly quick to check and see if my tubes were blocked thankfully they weren't. We just got a suprise and are expecting our second baby in August without medical help we weren't even trying, its crazy how things work out! Good luck!!

Not a problem! Fertility issues are stressful. I have pcos and hypothyroidism it was no picnic but miracles do happen! Keep your chin up and i hope your bfp is right around the corner!
