I'm not sure any doctors take medicaid for infertility treatment. Maybe for some testing and diagnosis.

No fertility dr will take medicaid, the closest you can get is an OBGYN who'd rule out health issues that may effect fertility, such as PCOS, Endometriosis, diabetes, etc.

Yeah I've had Medicade and no fertillity docs take it!

No infertility doc is going to take medicaid in or not in a mandated state. Infertility isn't something that is a necessity in their eyes. That's like going to a cosmetic surgeon and asking Medicaid to pay for breast implants, it just isn't happening. Even though there is no way you can compare the two but in their eyes it is the same. I do know though, that NY is suppose to be a mandated state for infertility and they I think even have grants. I would Google infertility help in NY.

I have excellent insurance and I live in NYC and they don't cover fertility. It's elective and not a necessity. Are you on PA?
