Painful ovulation?

I have very regular cycles. Around ovulation I used to experience a sharp pain on either my left or right side, which I heard was normal.
For the last 2 months I've had full blown cramps around ovulation that feel like period cramps, which are very painful for me. It radiates to my back and legs, just like my period cramps do. It's debilitating for a day. I also have cm tinged with blood, which is new for me too. I am 33.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've read contradicting material. I don't want to bring this up to my obgyn if it's normal.

Ever since I had my 2nd child (16 months ago) I've had HORRIBLE ovulation cramping
It gets so bad that sometimes I actually throw up

I never had it like this prior to having him....not sure why it happens though...sorry not much help

Well at least I know I'm not alone! Thanks for sharing your story. :) Maybe we can both find some answers.

I'm not a huge help either but I never used to be able go feel ovulation until I had my third baby almost 4 years ago!! But from what I heard around here is it can be normal but if it's not normal for you then I would ask your doc about if!
