Questions for all the moms who have had or are having twins?

Hey Ladies!

So we found out a week ago that we are having twins!! Eek! :) I'm currently 11 weeks.

Anyhoo, we have our next appointment on Monday. Just wanting to know what they will be doing?

Also, is the appointments for twins different than with singletons? Will we have more appointments/ultrasounds/tests etc?

Thank you so much for any help!

They're not much different but you will definitely have a lot of ultrasounds and where they would typically see you once a month, you'll probably be seen every two weeks. Then when it gets to the point where they would normally see you every two weeks, they will see you every week. So long story short... a butt load of appointments and ultrasounds. lol

I only have my twins, so I don't know what a singleton birth is like.
For me I had gd, and found that out at 16 weeks. My gd was very well controlled with.diet. I made it to full term at 38 weeks with them. My ob said I have a "cervix of steel" because at birth the boys were bigger than any twins she'd ever delivered.

DON'T FREAK OUT they were 8.2 and 8.9. Both were 21.5 inches long.
