What do you consider CD1?

A few years ago my doctor told me that spotting is not CD1. That CD1 is the first day you need a pad or tampon and that if you need a liner then it is not CD1. My OPK's say CD1 is your first day of spotting or bleeding. I spotted for a good 2-3 days (needing a liner but nothing else). Now I do not know if I am on CD 16 or CD 19. I thought I was getting early + opks this month and yet here I am Oing on CD 18 lol.

I was told by REs (fertility doctors) that CD1 is flow. Spotting doesn't count. Hope this helps :)

CD day is the first day of a full period. The few days of spooting before that does not count.

CD1 is when you see red blood and have a flow, like you need a pad or tampon.

Looks like First response OPKs and RE's disagree on this lol. It was my RE that told me that its when you need a pad or tampon.
