Cycle day 17 no positive opk...

I am so confused to the point it's making me mad!!
Ive been trying to conceive for the 16 months and recently had my second laparoscopic surgery where my infertility specialist found stage 3 Endo, scar tissue and cysts. After the procedure he prescribed me Femara and said there is nothing else that could be stopping us to conceive (ballsy words right?) my doctor gave me a schedule of how to take my femara and when to start opk testing. To be honest this is the first month I've ever opk I don't know why but I just couldn't get myself too before... But now it's doctors orders. I've been testing twice a day since cycle day 9 and they've been all negative.
Can someone PLEASE clarify what the heck is exactly going on? I need to call my doctor on Mondya but meanwhile I'm going crazy not understanding what in the heck is going on....
I start my cycle on May 1st, I thought I had this cycle bullet proof... HELP!!

Usually with femara you will ovulate around 10 days after your last dose. Did you do days 3-7? For what it's worth, I didn't ovulate until cd 19 on femara. :) good luck!

Did ovulating later than "normal" make your cycle longer? I started the 1st so you'd assume I would be to start the 28/29th of this month. But when I put in my glow app that I didn't ovulate till the 17 (later that day of the post) it said I would start June 2nd. Just don't know what to expect & im getting anxious.

I started on may 11th, and am currently cycle day 17 and just officially got my first real positive OPK - but I had to get a different brand of OPK's to confirm the positive, because the ones I WAS using, were negative and never got positive.

When femera wasn't working for me on lower doses, I'd ALMOST O - as in, I'd get some symptoms and maybe even a positive OPK - but no confirmation with elevated temps.

2.5 and 5mg don't usually work for me, I had better luck with 7.5 nad I got pregnant with my last pregnancy on 10mg, after trying for 6-8 months on the lower doses and only having luck Oing about 1/3rd of the time.

I took it cycle day 3-7 this month, and am still waiting for fertile fluids to match my OPK's and some signals that it's actually working besides the LH surge... I wasn't going to temp chart because I wake up too much in the middle of the night, but I may have to at least attempt to try next month. :/

Yes, if you ovulate later then your period will be due later.

Oh good lord girl. I've never attempted a temp chart. I honestly never want too. Why are making babies so much work?!
Good luck girl and keep me posted!!
