For the ones that KEEP asking why I'm in this group if I'm on birth control is because my doctor and I thought it would be the next step to getting pregnant. We tried for 9 months to get pregnant, when I went to the dr all the time because i was getting faint positives, she said i was likely having really early miscarriages or chemical pregnancies. So we are going to try birth control for 4 months or so, then start trying again.

I'M REALLY TO THE POINT OF THINKING MOST THE GIRLS IN HERE ARE JUST HERE TO MAKE U FEEL STUPID AND LIKE SHIT. I COME HERE BECAUSE I HAVE NOONE TO TALK TO, SO I ASK U GUYS. AND TWICE NOW I HAVE WANTED TO LEAVE THIS GROUP BECAUSE PEPLE JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO HELP OR IF THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND, ASK....

I will try to make this short. I went in and found out last month that I have a very large cyst on my overy, thinking thats why I'm not getting pregnant. So we just did a repeat ultrasoud to see if it got smaller or bigger or what it was doing. Well they said it was gone. Good news right?? Lol I have felt so much better this month and have not had any symptoms like I had with my cyst the last few months. I also started birth control this month, so I don't knkw if maybe that helped or not. Well they also said they now see extra blood flow that was not there before...what does that mean?? Could it be a really early pregnancy symptom or the birth control?? I go on to see an ob soon, I just wanted some advice while I wait. Thank u

if you plan on TTC, going on birth control can screw up your hormones more, so I would make sure they know that avoiding pregnancy for more then a cycle or two is not what you are going for.

The rest, you'll need to speak to your doctor about.

Great news that the cyst is gone!! I'm not sure about the "extra blood flow" as you didn't say where it was but I'd doubt it's pregnancy related if you're on birth control hun.

My midwife told me to try the birth control because after alost a year it was not happening. She thinks it may be entromitiosus (sp)

The reason I think it may be pregnancy related is because this was my first month on it and we didn't use backup at all. But I have no idea

Even if it is endometrosis, birth control will make it so you don't get pregnant and defeats the purpose.

You need to see a reproductive specialist who can actually rule out tube issues, hormone problems, chemical imbalances, and check your uterus, eggs, tubes, and ovaries to ensure that they are all normal and figure out why it's not working.

If your are on birth control, you cannot get pregnant.

I'm so confused? Why are you in a TTC forum talking about going on birth control? I'm not trying to be rude but you got snappy at kajira for no reason...

For cysts on ovaries, sometimes they do give birth control for a month to see if it will make the cyst shrink or go away, for endometrosis, they do give birth control to help control it - but while on it, you cannot get pregnant. I don't think her midwife explained it to her properly.

It seems like she's trying to get pregnant, but she won't be able too if she stays on birth control, she needs to see a reproductive specialist.

I wasn't mad at her for her reaction, I was confused why she was here too if she's not trying to get pregnant, I assumed they didn't tell her that while on birth control she won't be able to get pregnant.

Yeah I totally understand the somewhat benefits of birth control, unless you're trying to get pregnant. That's why I was thinking to myself, what? Lol. I was just confused about what she is actually asking us and why she posted in TTC if she's getting on birth control. Meh oh well.
