What is going on? Why can't I get pregnant?

I have two children ages 9 and 5. I have been divorced from their father since youngest was 1 year old. I am now happily with the love of my life and we want to have a baby. I thought okay, me too let's do this. I got my Mirena taken out a year and we still have no luck. I thought since I already had children this would be no problem. I am only 31 years old and in really good shape. I have tried conceiveeasy, pre-seed, all that stuff with no success and it's really starting to get me down. My fiance has no children, and is only 26. What are the chances of something being wrong with his sperm, and how do we go about finding out? Have any of you women had this problem, and what are your success stories

I have 3 kids with my DH, 10, 6 and 4.  We have been trying for over 2 years with a miscarriage in there too.  I would go speak with your OBGYN, she possibly could put you on something and have you DH get a spem analysis done.

I also forgot to mention that before I got pregnant with my daughter, I had an ectopic pregnancy. They said they caught it early and gave me a shot of methotrexate and that it shouldn't have effected my fallopian tube, but what if it did? My insurance doesn't cover any of that stuff, how much does it cost?

Hi, I am sorry you are going through this. I would recommend seeing yr doc or a fertility specialist to discuss yr issues. There might be various reasons why you can't conceive, as eg secondary infertility or male factor. Good luck

my best friend waited until her mid30s to get married. Comes to find out, despite her fertility, her DH has mobility/sperm issues... you need to get a sperm analysis done...  She's having to go through IVF now, despite her being fertile because of his issues. .

First thing is getting a sperm analysis. He can get it done through his primary doc. Then track your cycles and use the ovulation predictors. If still no luck then see a reproductive endocrinologist. I Wouldn't worry though sometimes it just doesn't happen right away.

Oh boy!!! I can't say I have had this issue, but I can say that my success story involves an infertility clinic and successful ivf's. This specific one was in Kiev, called Biotex. GOOD LUCK!
