I'm thinking about for this next cycle taking folic acid or a prenatal. Which one would you suggest and do you have a brand in mind?

I think prenatal... you should take those to prepare for baby anyway. I never took folic acid, but maybe you could do both? And I use Walmart brand prenatal!

I take a prenatal the Garden of Life raw prenatal. It seems to do what it needs to. I avoid folic acid and need methylated B vitamins.

I took both for about a month (maybe two) before getting pregnant. I was taking 1.5mg
I think the recommended amount is 0.6-1mg your body will flush out what it doesn't need.

I take Jamieson. The prenatal +dha has 1mg of folic acid.
I usually take vitamin in am and folic acid at dinner time.

Both. Brands end up all being about the same.
