HPT result accuracy

Here is some information I got from Babyzone.  Thought those of us with HPT questions could use this information.

"In women who were pregnant, HPTs were positive only 90 percent of the time on the first day of the missed menstrual period. Even a week after a missed period, only 97 percent of the tests were positive. The delay in the detection of hCG is thought to be due to later implantation. Therefore, if you suspect you are pregnant, retest!"

 BUMP!...there are a few posts like this one (and one i have made) that we should get the admins tohave be stickies or something so everyone can read them and know the info from them..since we all have seen the SAME questions here soooo many times..not that i dont resond everytime ne ways..lol..

even though i dont think i am preggo i took a test 6 dpo with a neg.. but hub said he is gonna force me to test the day AF is due.. so i could use this to back me up thank you LOL

 u have me an idea..since every always is asking about the accuracy of dolloar store tests! i googled it! and here's a chart that shows the sensitivity of different brans of HPT's...

I don't believe this information is completely accurate. I know that the dollar store tests are 25 not 50. This website has all of the sensitivity levels as guaranteed  by the manufacturer:
