My son will be almost 9 when the new baby gets here. Im not sure how my oldest will react but I know hes excited to be a big brother. For me its a good a gap. :)

mine r 2yrs and 8mnths apart, good because they are close enough in age to b close but my eldest is not so dependant on me at this stage and can follow instruction and do some things on her own which is handy when you have a needy newborn, but on teh other hand a two and a half year old can b bossy and selfish! but i think every age gap has its pros and cons

My daughter was 2yrs and 3.5months old when our son came along. I love the age gap b/c they are still close enough to be close and my DD helps out so much  shes very helpfull and shes been teaching him so much its very cute. but its up to u on how close or far apart u want ur kids to be

my kids are 2yrs 6mos apart. i've found it quite easy, altho he is only 6mos and he's a very easy baby. she's old enough to help out if i need her to grab something for me, and entertain herself...so for us, it's the perfect age distance. not too far apart, but not too close either! =)

my daughters are 10 months and 6 days apart, i know it seems really close but it was super easy. they are now almost 18 months and almost 28 months. they are so close, and they love each other so much. so for me it was a good gap, now our next baby will be 3-5 years apart from our daughters.

Mine are just over two years apart and the next time, I want a larger age gap.

Mine are 22 months apart. I tried getting pregnant 2 months sooner but had a miscarriage. I like their ages. They are close enough, yet far enough apart.

brooklynn, my oldest will be 3 in april and colton, our youngest is due in the next 18 days so they will be close to 3 years apart...im sure ill like the gap but cant really say yet lol...

as for big age gaps, im 24, brother is 14 and my sister is 5 and i HATE it and so do they i got married and 19 when my sister was only 1 and brother was 9 we dont really know each other like kids who grew up together...i definetly would not recommend a big age gap, even my brother says with our youngest sister being 5 it sucks...
