How old are you? How old were you when you had your first child? How old were you when you had your last?
I am just curious because I am 22 and pregnant with twins... this will
be babies #3 and 4 for us ... and none of them were planned. I had my
first at 17 (almost 18), my second at 19, and now I'm 20 weeks pregnant
with the twins.
I am just feeling very overwhelmed and not really sure what to expect.
I just want to know if this really is uncommon or if there are other
moms out there in my situation ... having so many kids at a young age.
Everyone keeps telling me how crazy things are gonna be and how hard
it's going to be with 4 kids and I know they don't mean to but they are
making me even more nervous. I know it won't be EASY but .... from your
experience... how bad is it really? LoL

I will have 5 this march. Although the first two are from my husbands first marriage we have a 100 percent full custody. Everyone can tell you how "hard" it is going to be, but I think how tired you are going to be is more like it. I have a ton of help from my husband. Its hard but you see them play together and realize you are doing for them not how it is making you feel.
I have six kids that I raised, first one I was 17, second 19, third 20, fourth 22, and 5 and 6 I was 24. I also had twins and none of mine were planned. I felt the same way you are feeling when I was pregnant with my twins, and yeah some was a lot harder then just a single child was. The whole wake up and feed a baby every two hours ended up all night cause as soon as I got one fed and back to sleep the other one woke up or they woke up together and just did not want to sleep. It will feel a little hectic ok honestly it will feel really hectic to begin with but it is also so much fun, it sounds weird but I loved it. My experience might be different though because I was single with mine until my twins were eight months old when I met my DH. There were a lot of things that felt harder, the pregnancy had different fears, but there is realy a lot of good and fun that comes with it. Do you know if they are identical or paternal? Mine were identical boys both born over 5 pounds.
well i only have 3 (laugh @ "only" lol) but i had my 1st at 16, my 2nd at 18 and my last at 19. Congrats on twins btw! =)

I have 4 =) I had my 1st at 14 ...2nd at 17 ...3rd at 21 and 4th at 23...hubby had a vasectomy after our 4th...So we are done unless there is a miracle....U will be tired for sure but it's well worth it.Kids are gift from God!!
Just accept all the help you can get and just live 1 day at a time!!
