he has been throwing up really bad since friday evening, we stuck it out till this morning, and when he threw up sooo bad all over our bed i decided it was time to call the doctor. he has an appt at 115pm today. he will probably be tested for pyloric stenosis which brooklynn had when she was his age. for those of you who dont know pyloric stenosis is were the pyloric muscle in the stomach doesnt open up to let food down and the throwing up is very agressive. which he has been doing since about fri evening. the way to correct it is to have surgery and make the pyloric muscle hole bigger.

brooklynn had this from day one very bad and finally a doc decided to do the surgery at 8 weeks. which colton is now 6 weeks and is showing signs of it so he may end up with the surgery as well, since it is genetic and more common in boys then girls. but anyways please pray for him and me since this is very time, energy and strength consuming. will update later as to what the doc said

Update: well hsi appt went ok, he borderline has pyloric stenosis, meaning the pyloric muscle is not fully open yet not closed enough to be considered full out PS..but PS is something that progresses over time...so if he has it for sure we will know mon am at his next appt. we will be doing another ultrasound and then it will show if its PS or somehting else, but there is def something wrong with his little belly. thanks ladies for your thoughts nad prayers

good luck, we dealt with sick kids about 2 weeks ago..they were lucky tho. my son woke up throwin up..that lasted 8 hrs(8 til 4ish) and then my daughter started after he threw up the last time and hers lasted 7 hrs. and me and the hubby were each sick for like 3 days!!! how does that work? lol. good luck and hoping that its not what you think it is..

Good luck. At least you have an idea of what it MIGHT be and have some experience with it should it be what you think. I'd be a wreck if my baby had to have surgery! Good luck momma. Sending good health vibes your way.

i was a complete mess with brooklynn, but i know the docs at the hosptial we will have to go to do a great job, and as uncommon as it is for us parents its common for the docs. plus it takes about an hour to an hour and a half not long at all, and we will only be in the hospital 3-4 days. but yah i def was a wreck with brooklynn. seems dealing with it second time around isnt as hard you still worry but you know the drill

Glad to hear about the progress. Hope that things get even better long the way and that what ever the issue is with his belly gets better too!
