Are you religious?  Are you Christian, pagan, Wiccan, agnostic, atheist, satanist, what?  What do you believe happens after death?

I am not religious. I was raised in a vaguely Christian household. I consider myself a humanist/agnostic.

I think death is it...the end :) And that doesn't bother me.

I am christian, i believe that after death our souls go up to heaven to be with the Lord where we stay for eternity. Unfortunatly if you do not believe in the Lord you will not go to heaven. Again this is just what i believe. :)

I believe in life after death. Don't know about heaven even though I was raised catholic. I believe in an other side. I also believe in two god like figures. A male AND a female. I don't believe in this male dominated religious crap, sorry but just because women were umimportant at the time the bible was written doesn't mean they are umimportant in reality.

Also I don't buy this "if you don't believe in God you don't go to heaven" crap. I know that it's to each their own but if God is all loving and all forgiving like most religions teach, then why in the hell would he hold it against you that you didn't believe in him? If he's this onimous being then he knows why you believed the way you did and will forgive you for not knowing better, right?

I also don't believe in Hell. I believe there is a place that truly evil spirits go, but I don't think it's open to "sinners" and lame criminals. I don't think there is this domain ruled by a demon. Sorry.

I believe in ghosts, angels, and spirits as well. I would define it as primarily pagan.

Guess I'm not going to Heaven...fine by me :)

Incidentally, if I were going to pick a religion that I'd be most likely to buy into, it would definitely be a pantheistic polytheistic one (think Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Hindus). Different gods/goddesses for different things, none of this "benevolent and loving yet filled with hypocrisy" monotheistic stuff. If I really wanted to look for so-called "evidence" of a higher power, I think it's much easier to find if you assume there are multiple deities, and accept that they're not all looking out for you.

i think you are refering to polytheistic, not pantheistic.

polytheistic is many gods, pantheisitc is a belife more like god is in everything, not an actual entity of his own.

i am religious. i am a non-denomination christian (protestant i guess, but no subdivision). im actually not a boig fan of organized religion for several reasons, but we do go to church and participate. i believe in the old and new testaments of the Bible. i believe my faith is somthing that is very personal. it wont match up exactloy w anyone elses, even in the same church or in my family. i believe its very important for people to make thier own INFORMED decision about religion.

i believe in heaven and hell, and that only God can say for certain who will be where. i do believe there are some clear guidlines that God set down, but only he knows every persons heart. i believe it is his place to judge, not mine.

I'm liberally Christian. I believe God knows all, and I don't know anywhere near that. I believe if He wants it to happen it will, if He doesn't it won't. This I believe...but do I have FAITH in it? That I'm struggling with at the moment.

I'm not much for organized religion either. In general, IMO, they condemn too much. I think God is much more about love than alot of Christians give him credit for, and knocking door to door handing pamphlets at people telling them they're going to hell isn't....the best approach.

I'm a new Christian, and the bold is my only real problem with it, I think the same way you do
