How did you

How did you tell your parents you were pregnant?  I just found out today that I'm pregnant with my late boyfriend's baby.  My boyfriend passed away 6 weeks ago tomorrow and I just found out I'm about 11 weeks pregnant, due in October.

How did you tell your parents?  The father's parents?  Your friends?

I just told my mom I needed to talk to her about something important and she knew right away that I was pregnant. She wasn't happy about it at first given I was sorta young at the time but none the less there really is no easy way to do.

Just gotta come right out and just say it.

I agree. Just sit them down and tell them. After their shock and their reactions (let them do w/e they need to), talk to them about what you are going to do with the baby. Good luck, but no easy way to do it.

Aww! That's got to be hard! And my parents were being nosey and read my status on myspace, lol.

Best way to tell them, just sit them down and let them know. :) Hope all goes well.

We flat out told his parents, pretty much right after we found out. They were okay with it, their daughter had gotten pregnant at 17 seven years prior to that. My parents were harder. I lived 800 miles away so I called my mom and told her on the phone, she was upset.

But I honestly don't feel like you have anything to worrying about. I doubt either parent will be upset that you are pregnant with your deceased boyfriend's baby.

As for friends we just outright told them.

i cried and cried and cried, then they just kind of guessed and I said yes... that was with my first..

I just found out Monday that I'm pregnant, and it was planned and my fiance' told EVERYONE.. ..

we sent his mom flowers bc we knew out of everyone she would be most excited..

Actually my doctor was the one to tell them. She called them and asked them to go to her office, sat them down and explained it. I wanted to tell them myself, but with my dad's temper by Dr. wouldn't allow it.

And my husband was already 20 years old when I got pregnant so telling his mom was easy. He just told her and that was it.
