so my lil girl has just started asking for bedtime stories. she is 19months and wen i lay her down she says "book please" and i looooove it!! i tried reading to her wen she was younger but she didnt care at all. then out of no where she wans them. how many of you mommies read to your LOs at bedtime? do they have a favorite book??

We don't read at bed time but my son does LOVE books he likes to "read" them to me =]

thats so cute. my lil cousins use to 'read' me books. cant wait till dd gets to that stage

Yeah it's like routine at 9pm.. get in pj's, pick up your toys, brush your teeth then bedtime story! He always points at the books saying story if I'm about to walk out without telling him one! haha

I used to read to him all the time... But I found that he stayed awake longer after I left the room when I did.  So now I will occasionally make up stories with his stuffed animals that are in his bed.  He seems to go right to sleep after that.

she loves to read, but we don't read at bedtime =)
