In need of bedrest!

I work thirty five hours a week, and the job requires standing on your feet all day long! My feet are so swollen that I can't even wear tenni shoes. I'm 32 weeks pregnant. I tried talking to my doctor but all he said was that, thats what happens sometimes in the summer. I know your supposed to elevate them, but its kinda hard when I work all the time! And where I live, its close to 100 degrees everyday, and my place isn't air conditioned.

I was 35 weeks pregnant with twins in the dead of summer...luckily I had stopped working so I just layed in my air conditioned apartment all day long!! I feel ya, it sucks being so far along in the summer. Try and hang in there for that baby!

I need to stop working, but I can't unless the doctor gives me a slip.

I'm sorry. When I was pregnant with dd1, I worked a job where I was on my feet all the time, I know how much it can suck. Luckily, it'll be over soon.
