How could I get one started? I would like to get my name out there so I can have a little extra money. I tried Craigslist, no luck. Plus what do you think is a reasonable amount to charge people?

well u would need a business liscence and u would need business cards and word of mouth to get ur name out there, u could do peoples homes of small offices, and I think u might have to be certified.

Oh the good ole cleaning service---start with family and friends cleaning whatever---not just the house per say----clean out ice boxes----clean ovens----do windows---do blinds----then charge for that. Then you go from there----the thing is always do a great job---above and beyond and your name will get out there. Our area doesn't require you to have a license or any kind of permits. The thing is if your business grows and you hire more people to help you will probally have to get bonded. That is a good thing tho. A cleaning service is a wonderful business.
