My Belly (rant)

It annoys me soooo much when people come up to me saying OMG youre having a boy right??? and i have to constantly tell them no its a girl but they keep on saying its probably a boy just cause my belly is tiny. I got 5 different sonograms at 2 different hospitals and they ALL said it was a girl so i think theres no way i could be having a boy. I started showing at 5 months and all people tell me is that i cant possibly be having a girl. I dont listen to them cause everyones belly grows differently especially since everyone has different body types. has this happened to anyone else???

 yes, when i was pregnant with my son, i was sooo happy because me and my boyfriend both wanted a boy first.  my mom and grandma wanted me to have a girl so they kept saying it was probably a girl.  after the first ultrasound the tech was like "i don't like to tell people unless i'm sure and we usually can't tell this early but it's a boy" (i was 15 wks) and they said it was probably the umbilical cord.  so the next time they said the same thing it was a boy and for weeks my mom and grandma kept saying no it's a girl and then one day my grandma was like "i hate to say this but you're carrying like it's a girl"..the only way i got them to stop was when i was  crazy hormonal and got really emotional because i started feeling like they weren't going to accept my son because he wasn't a girl and then when they saw how much it really bothered me, they stopped.  but congrats on your little girl.

Actually most of the time women asking me would guess right. (I have 3 boys) But it is annoying when people say.."wow you dont look 7 months pregnant. your so small." And then there is the people that ask you what you are having, what the name will be,etc... I know Im not a "young mom" but I saw the post and thought it was interesting. I had my first when I was 19. Im 26 now.

I ate a lot
Gained 50lbs!!!

wow 50 ??? im feeling bleh about gaining 30 pounds lol no one was able to tell i was either im due in a few days and my belly is still pretty small which is why people assume its a boy

Lol first 5months I gained 4lbs but I was still -6lbs....
I was losing weight...
6th month I gained 13lbs!!!!
I was honestly trying to get a belly to put a bowl on it
Never happened :'(
But by the end I gained the weight lol

well with my son my belly was higher and bigger, and with my girl it was lower and smaller. guess i proved that theory wrong. lol

I know a girl, she was always tiny. I saw her when I just turned seven months and she told me that's how she looked when she gave birth. she didn't show until she was 5 months. everyone different. and everyone told me I was having a boy because of some dumb crap. but I got the u/s and 100%I a girl she let us see with no problem. so don't listen to anyone. I rather be tiny still then huge! and this is my first child as well. everyone different and no one can tell you what your having by looking at your body. because I really don't think old wive tells are true anymore. cause if they were I would be having a boy. but nope a baby girl :) good luck with your little one on the way1

No I carried low and upfront both times. But I think mostly people left me alone because I took my hormonal mood swings out on strangers and nonfamily / close friends. I had a back off look on my face when people came to close. Lol

Yes, Everybody is different. I am 15 weeks today and accompanied by  a little baby fat I am big already.Its not baby fat because I cant suck it in and when I lay down I can feel how big it is.My first child, my daughter I didnt grow big till the end like 7 monhs.You couldnt tell the first 6 months but now you can tell.My belly is round not just big.
