Go to theknot.com. it gives you tips and guidelines for everything! And they send coupons for vendors in your area :)

go to theknot.com they are great. they have tons of info thatll help. they also have wedding show dates and i suggest going to that. also look through tons of magazines and get ideas of what you like. also i got married in september 2009 and found that sunday weddings were cheaper then friday night and saturday weddings. i dont know if your on a budget or not but that might be soemthing. but for now since its almost 2 and a half years away i would just look into what you like and get some ideas of what you want. that way you dont over whealm (sp) yourslef. i would suggest start looking for venues in sept that way you can get an idea of what the weather might be like during the wedding and what the secenery will look like as well. plus that gives you plenty of time to find a place. and get the date you want.

Bump!

I planned my wedding in 3 months and it turned out beautiful. Just think of guest, location, weather, food you will serve, decoration, if you have brides maids match their dresses with grooms men.
I'm sure you have plenty of time and websites help

My sister and soon to be MIL planned almost all of it, so I'm not much help. Try theknot.com, as the others suggested. Congratulations and good luck! :)
