I was told 6 weeks but I also had 3 c-sections with all my kids.

Doctors/midwives usually say 6 weeks. You should know your limits and how you are feeling though. Some women are ready sooner and some later! I will say that the first few times ( sometimes less, sometimes more ) can hurt a lot! If you start to bleed heavier ( or bright red ) then STOP. It means your body obviously is not healed and you are re-opening the wound where your placenta was attached. Just be careful and trust your instinct. Happy Humping! Lol.

I'd wait 6 weeks, even if you feel ready your insides may not be and you could risk catching an infection.

Dr says 6 weeks. I tried @ 3 weeks and it hurt like HELL. To me it was worse than the whole labor. Like a 10 ft metal pole ramming in my vagina lol. I'm not exaggerating. I would wait till 6 weeks regardless of what your man says or if he gets pissed. You should get mad @ him if he gets mad @ you you just gave birth for crying out loud
