What baby item did you get that you can't live without?
What baby item did you get that you didn't really need?
What baby item didn't you get that you really wish you had?
What baby item did you not think you would need, but actually did?
What's your favorite and least favorite baby items?
**For clarity, by "baby item" I mean anything baby related, used in baby's care.
**If this, or something similar has been posted before, I'm sorry.
2. Travel-system Stroller, newborn shoes (don't know if that actually counts?) bedding set.
3. Baby monitor. But I survived, so it wasn't really a "need" just a "want".
4. The highchair. I put off on it till she turned 1. Now I wish I got it sooner.
5. Favorite: Swing(just wish it wasn't Battery powered but a wall plug-in), bouncer(shes 13mo and used it the other night LOL)
Least favorite: The travel system stroller, it's nice I love the look, but it's so bulky and difficult for me to get it around. I have to go up two flights of stairs to my apt, and it was a pain! I mostly used a Moby Wrap when she was nb-8/9mo, now I use a umbrella stroller soooo much easier!
What baby item did you get that you can't live without? The crib, and the swing.
What baby item did you get that you didn't really need? Wipe warmer.
What baby item didn't you get that you really wish you had? With my oldest I wished I had a rocking chair, with my youngest I bought one.
What baby item did you not think you would need, but actually did? The baby tub. I didn't think I needed it, but it came in more handy than I thought.
What's your favorite and least favorite baby items? My favorite items with my oldest were the swing, binkies, and the heartbeat bear. With my youngest they were the swing, and the rocking chair. This child loved to move.
My girls are a bit bigger now. I have a 4 year old and a 17 month old.
1. onsies amazing little things!
2.bassinet
3. a double electric breast pump. (it took FOREVER with the single)
4.a boppy. Those things are miricales they help hold the baby while breastfeeding, and its easier to work with your breast.
5. Loved the oniese and boppy. Hated the little shirts that snapped at the side i swear they were EVIL!

let me think. well for me i cant live without is my skip hop baby backpack so now that hes on the move its eaiser to chase him.
i got a baby timer , altho lots of moms like them for breastfeeding i didnt need it . it was a smart gift , just for mei didnt need it.
i wish i had gotten a baby exersauser, i didnt ask for one , but i ended up buying one later one when my son was 4 or 5 months old.
i thought i wouldnt need newborn clothing bc my son was 8 pounds and i thouhght he woule be too big so my mom went and bought a few outfits, needed them for 3 weeks ish , also passeys i didn tthink i would use one but we ended up useing one for 8 months
my least fav item was the bumbo, my son didnt like sitting in it bc he would want to move
my fav item would have to be his blow up bath tub i use in our big bath tub now. he out grw the sink and was to small for the tub.
1. Swing
2. Bottle warmer
3. With my first I wanted a Boppy soooo bad. I got it with my second baby. :)
4. The gazillion receiving blankets. I was like, "I will NEVER need this many." lol. I did.
5. Favorite - Swing. Least Favorite - baby sling. (It always made my back hurt.)
What baby item did you get that you can't live without?
Her swing and bassinet. Also DIAPERS whether you decide on cloth or not the amount of diapers we got from her baby shower lasted us till she was 6 months old! Huge savings.
What baby item did you get that you didn't really need?
We didn't need all the hats and she was given 6 different snow suits. I would say sometimes the clothes are too much at times and it seems a little overwhelming it wasn't till after being a year old that it we needed to get more more often.
What baby item didn't you get that you really wish you had?
I wish she had been given more socksand more of the baby proofing items
What baby item did you not think you would need, but actually did?
We were given a ton of lotions and baby soap. I thought she wouldn't need as much but her skin is pretty sensitive so being able to put it on daily has been helpful.
What's your favorite and least favorite baby items?
I personally feel like a changing table takes up space and isn't as necessary as others try to make it out as. Also we had the bassinet and then just use our playpen rather than owning a crib just because of so many recalls and I feel like she won't be needing it as long. My favorite was my breastpump, and her swing, the last I would saying is having the carseat/stroller combo so while they are teeny tiny babies you can just lock the carseat into the stroller. That made our life easy she was closer up to me and easy to get around.
What baby item did you get that you can't live without? My Mamaroo! It is amazing and worth every penny I spent!
What baby item did you get that you didn't really need? Hats and mittens.
What baby item didn't you get that you really wish you had? I can't think of anything .... we had everything pretty much.
What baby item did you not think you would need, but actually did? Bassinet, we had a pack and play (3 of them) with an attached bassinet so I didn't think we needed one. It actually was very helpful to have a seperate bassinet to keep in the playroom (so baby would be near when I was playing with the older kids) and the pack and plays were free to be in other rooms so baby always had a place to nap (living room, den, and our bedroom) and I didn't have to move a bulky pack and play all around the house.
What's your favorite and least favorite baby items? My favorite(s) would have to be the mamaroo b/c it was a lifesaver. I also love the highchairs b/c having one in the kitchen for him to have a snack in while I'm cooking or cleaning is great and then having one that sits in his chair at the dining room table so he can be a part of dinner is awsome! My least favorite is the baby bathtub b/c it's just a pain! We have large garden tubs which makes it difficult so I like using the kitchen sink instead and it makes for an easier bath time!
What baby item did you get that you can't live without? DIAPER GENIE !!
What baby item did you get that you didn't really need? Baby bathtub. We just used the kitchen sink. It was way easier on my back! And a play mat for the floor. My son never liked it. I was better off just using a blanket.
What baby item didn't you get that you really wish you had? A moby wrap. I ended up making my own eventually, but I wish i had one from the start.
What baby item did you not think you would need, but actually did? A swing! my BIL got one for me, and my son lived in the darned thing. Not all babies like them, so I didn't want to waste all that money on one for no reason
What's your favorite and least favorite baby items? Favorite was hands down, the diaper genie. It is the one thing I would never live without. Least favorite ? Probably the baby sling we got... It ended up being recalled!! But it was not comfortable. The moby wrap was WAY better.
