Young Moms Young Moms
My oldest two have the same father who pays child support on HIS oldest chi, who by another woman. He hasn't financially helped since our son was 1, he is now 4. When they go visit him I have to provide clothes and shoes. My son lost a brand new pair of DCs over there and his dad literally sent him home barefoot! My husband suggested fighting for child support, which would help out with the two tremendously. My question is will they charge him for each child as one case, or will my two count as 1 case? Has anyone gone thru this? How did it work out?

I think they will charge separately. The other woman would need to go to court on her own and file. I also think that the first child gets priority when it comes to the amount, but I could be wrong on that.
