I'm 17 years old and I have a 1 year old son.I take care my son alone, work, and go to school.I'm currently two years behind in school and its very difficult to get caught up.I want to get my Masters in Medical Science and give my son a better life than what I had.I'm not sure if I should stay in high school or get my GED.

I got my GED, and it's been fine. I'm doing great in college and abut to get a degree. I have a job, it doesn't make someone less just because they got one.
I got mine because I was pregnant with dd1 and wanted to leave public school, plus here you have to take this dumb end of the year test that I NEVER pass(math section), and I knew that if I took that and failed, I wouldn't graduate so I took the GED instead. I didn't even study and passed the first time. It's not hard.
I disagree.

This. It's going to be hard for a 4 year university to accept a person with a GED next to someone with their hs diploma.

That's good and where i live is the same way except we have to take 5 state test and pass to be able to graduate.

I'd say stay in school. But if you can't possibly graduate for whatever reason, take the GED. It doesn't make you less of a person. Having a child in high school is really hard, I've never had to deal with that, but I've had friends that had children in high school. I never took the SAT/ACT and I graduated from high school. Sure, I may not get into an awesome university but I'll be happy just to get into a community college then transfer to a university. It's often easier to do it that way. :o But good luck in whatever you do (:
